While reviewing my stats for this post I realized that I totally forgot to celebrate my blog's fifth anniversary! Which was in 2020, in case you were wondering. Soooo… Yeah. Let's just move on, shall we? whatchaa.com's stats for 2021 While I published just three more posts than the previous year (15 instead of 12), … Continue reading What 2022 has in store
Category: Dishonored
Dishonored is one of my favorite games to date, and I also loved the sequel, Dishonored 2. The story is great, the gameplay badass. My favorite character has to be Daud and I simply loved the two story-DLCs the Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches. Dishonored: Death of the Outisder is also good, I think. Here you will find mostly reviews.
My Top 5 Stealth Games
LinceWorks just announced Aragami 2, the sequel to their excellent stealth game Aragami, which is one of my all-time favorites, so I feel kind of inspired to list my 5 favorite stealth games. And also looking forward to playing Aragami 2 - hopefully next year. The thrill of being hunter and hunted If you have … Continue reading My Top 5 Stealth Games
Dishonored DLC – Dunwall City Trials
Can't get enough of badass supernatural assassin Corvo Attano? Dunwall City Trials, part of the Dishonored Definitive Edition, has got you covered! Though, truth be told, these trials are set in the Void, not in Dunwall. Honing your skills is fun! Dunwall City Trials will see you compete in various tournaments. There are trials focusing … Continue reading Dishonored DLC – Dunwall City Trials
Dishonored DLC – The Brigmore Witches (MAJOR SPOILERS)
The main antagonist of Dishonored is, undoubtedly, the Lord Regent, the man who took the throne after Empress Jessamine's death at the hands of the assassin Daud. Daud himself does not play a major role in the main game itself, though hero Corvo Attano does come face to face with him and will have to … Continue reading Dishonored DLC – The Brigmore Witches (MAJOR SPOILERS)
Dishonored DLC – The Knife of Dunwall (MAJOR SPOILERS)
Throughout the main game of Dishonored for PS4, you will be coming across information on the assassin Daud, the Knife of Dunwall, and it is an intimidating tale indeed. You will learn that he is probably the son of a witch, a worshipper of the Outsider and a master of the arcane. That he was … Continue reading Dishonored DLC – The Knife of Dunwall (MAJOR SPOILERS)
Dishonored Definitive Edition – A Replay
So, on a whim, I decided to spend my Christmas vacation revisiting the world of Dishonored, one of my favorite franchises to date. Since I have not gotten around to setting up my PS3 in my new place and probably never will, I started with replaying Dishonored 2 for PS4. Read my review here and … Continue reading Dishonored Definitive Edition – A Replay
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider or To die or not to die
The games I start playing and then end up finishing in more or less one really, really long session are rare. The driving factor usually is curiosity. I simply want to find out what happens next. Not necessarily because the story is so gripping, or emotional, as was most recently the case with Hellblade-Senua's Sacrifice. … Continue reading Dishonored: Death of the Outsider or To die or not to die
Dishonored 2 – Three Ways to Play
Dishonored leaves the player a lot of choices, the first and foremost being whether to play it stealthy and (mostly) non-lethal on Low Chaos or to go in guns blazing and with a lot of casualties on High Chaos. Since the level of Chaos affects the world itself, you better choose wisely. I absolutely adore … Continue reading Dishonored 2 – Three Ways to Play
Dishonored 2: The Joys of High and Low Chaos
There is something comforting in family as well as in familiarity, though more so in family. In Dishonored, Princess Emily Kaldwin's family is somewhat dysfuncional. Her mother, the Empress Jessamine and de facto ruler, is murdered when she is ten and her father, Jessamine's bodyguard and spymaster Corvo Attano, wanted for killing her. Of course, … Continue reading Dishonored 2: The Joys of High and Low Chaos
